14 - 21 February, 2010 Following another successful year for the Barbados Jazz Festival, the next major event on the Barbados Events Calendar is the Holetown Festival, which offers another great reason to plan a February vacation to Barbados. The history of the festival stems from 1627, when 80 English Settlers landed between the 17th & 20th of February at Holetown. With them were 10 African Slaves, who were captured on the voyage.
