The Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) is presenting Toronto's third annual Caribbean Week. This consumer and trade event is designed to showcase the Caribbean as a primary destination choice for the Canadian traveler.

Fun filled events are planned that celebrate the tastes, sounds, colours and vibrant culture of the Caribbean.

Consumer Events

SITV Show
Place Bonaventure, Montreal
October 23rd - 25th, 2009
10:30 am to 2:00 pm

The first event is at the largest consumer travel show in Canada, which in 2008 attracted over 35,000 visitors. The CTO will host a Caribbean Pavilion highlighting the vacation experience available throughout the Region. For further information visit www.salontourismevoyages.com

Rum & Rhythm Festival
Distillery District, Toronto
Friday, October 30th, 2009
6:00 pm to 9:00 pm

The Rum & Rhythm Festival will be held in the Fermenting Cellar in Toronto’s trendy Distillery District.

A variety of the Caribbean’s award-winning rums will be available for tasting in addition to rum cocktails served up by the region’s top mixologists.

The Festival will also feature tantalizing cuisine served by Caribbean chefs, vibrant musical performances and a silent auction including vacations to the Caribbean.

Zoomer Show
Direct Energy Centre, Toronto
October 31st to November 1st, 09
9:00 am to 5:00 pm

The Zoomer Show is Toronto’s first consumer show dedicated to the demographic traditionally known as the 50 plus. More than 200 exhibitors will offer travel and product information which will include a Caribbean Pavilion, coordinated by the CTO. For further information visit www.zoomershow.ca

Travel Trade Events

A series of events will be held on Friday October 30th, these include a Media Market Place, Caribbean Awards Luncheon, Andrew R. Parris Award and a Caribbean Media Award. All events will be held at the Distillery District, Fermenting Cellar. Further information can be found at the CTO website
